Piece of mind,
Bought this kit, after fitting the flat with fire blanket and extinguisher, and thought about the fact there is no safety items in my car should the worst happen, even if it is there to assist another motorist,
I have past many accidents where something has been smoldering and people are waiting for fire services or even just breakdown reovery after an accident, and most of us pass thanking there lucky stars its not them.
This was bought for the piece of mind more than anything else, and i hope not to have to use it,
All items are of good quality, and are all in one safety bag, which has a velcro strip attached so you can fit it to boot without it rolling around like what the shopping does.
At the price this kit is i think it is good value for money, and for pice of mind its worth every penny

It’s difficult to find a breakdown/emergency kit that includes an extinguisher, first aid kit, foil blanket, hammer, scraper, fluorescent jacket and triangle. There are a few other kits out there, but they mostly don’t include an extinguisher, instead providing such things as a notepad and pen (as if you don’t already have these to spare at home) and jump leads (something which you should carry but, in my opinion, should be purchased separately to ensure that they are thick enough to be rated for your car – thin cables can overheat if used on too powerful an engine).
The extinguisher is a dry powder one that meets British standards, the jacket is XL so it will fit over your coat, the hammer/seatbelt cutter is an AA one, the scraper and triangle are good quality, and the first aid kit contains two triangular bandages, plasters, alcohol wipes, medical gloves and a large dressing. There’s even a foil blanket for preventing hypothermia.
Not present are a foot pump, tow rope or hand tools, but for the price this kit doesn’t need to include such things.

Bought this for my daughter following severe winter weather and chose it because I felt it provided the best selection of practical items for the non mechanically minded motorist.She is pleased with the kit and therefore so am I!
