Value snow chains (Polar 9 MM),
These are good value snow chains, if you don’t mind having to adjust them a couple of times before you really get under way. Study the instructions carefully and ensure you have a practice run in dry conditions before putting them on when the temperature is minus something.
They helped get my Ford Mondeo Eatate through some difficult terrain in the back roads of North Devon following the January snow.
It was a prompt delivery from the supplier as well, they arrived a day earlier than the estimated date.

Both chains broke first time they were used and within 5km of being fitted. This was a major problem as I was on a very snowy mountain road in the french alps and needed to be rescued and to purchase replacement chains for the journey home.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD FOR THE TYPE OF SNOW WE HAVE IN THE UK. TRICKY TO PUT ON, WORTH A PRACTICE BEFORE THE EMERGENCY, BUT GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. PREVIOUS PURCHASE, FOR A CAR WITH SMALLER TYRES, WORKED WELL DURING THE 2010/2011 SNOW.
